Handwoven African Hanging Angels

A handwoven Christmas angel for the top of your tree. With a skirt crafted from sisal fronds and a sweet little halo atop her head, this angel tree decoration in bright orange and white comes from eSwatini, handwoven from local sisal grass. We especially love her heart-shaped wings. 
Each piece in this collection of Christmas tree decorations brings sustainable work to rural artisans, from growing and harvesting the crop to preparing and dyeing the fibres – all before the weaving begins.  The group behind this collection was set up by a pioneering founder with a mission to empower women through leadership workshops, handicrafts training and health education.
