The Newt in Somerset Cyders
The Newt's cider is spelt with a ‘y’ to preserve the old West Country tradition, originating from a time when it was used to indicate superior strength and quality.
Orchard Amble Cyder
Orchard Amble is rounded and balanced, with toffee, custard apple and some warm tropical notes. It's a vibrant medium-dry on the palate, finishing clean and dry, making it an easy-going cyder that's perfect anytime, with anything.
Unique with every vintage, our Orchard Amble reflects the ebb and flow of the year's seasons, giving a true taste of Somerset and capturing the very essence of our estate in every bottle.
Kingston Black
Their driest cyder, this punchy single-variety expression shows off the quality and character of the Kingston Black apple beautifully. Full of citrus, green apple and gooseberry notes, it's a lively palate-cleanser, perfect with roast chicken, pork belly and lemony desserts.
The bitter-sharp Kingston Black is a legendary Somerset variety, known affectionately as ‘the king of cyder apples’. Harvested locally from an orchard just over the border in the Dorset village of Melpash (nest village to Beaminster), it is pressed and slowly cold-ferment the apple juice in our estate cellar, before allowing the cyder to mature and then gently carbonating it at bottling.
750ml 5.8% ABV
