Ortiz Bonito Tuna Fillets-Food & Drink-Brindisa-Brassica Mercantile

Bonito, white tuna fillets (the highest grade of tuna), in olive oil.

Ortiz bonito is only fished in season so that the regenerative cycle is protected. It is also caught by traditional fishing boats, using rods and live bait, (pole and line), which is the most selective and ecological method, meaning there is no by-catch and the quality of the tuna meat is protected from bruising. Whole fish are cut, filleted and packed by hand on the Cantabrian coast of Spain.
