The Spanish have been making Membrillo for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. To get such an intense flavour and colour, Santa Teresa never make use of the core or pulp, only the fruit itself. This is a firm and fruity paste that can take pride of place on anyone’s cheeseboard.
Traditionally-made Membrillo using only the finest hand-selected Spanish quinces. Floral fragrance and a honeyed sweetness. Serve in slivers with Manchego.
