Colombina Classic Easter Cake

The Classic Easter Colomba a.D. 1552 is the traditional Italian Easter cake, the result of 72 hours of patient artisan processing. Its dough is soft, well dimpled and obtained by natural fermentation from sourdough. It is particularly soft and we use fresh butter, milk and cream and fresh, free-range eggs. The classic Easter Colomba is enriched with candied Sicilian orange peel and natural Mananara vanilla from Madagascar. The surface is covered with a fragrant Italian almond icing and sugar grains.
