La Mère Poulard Biscuits Large Tin
All butter, lemon or chocolate chip. 500g.
In 1888, Annette and Victor Poulard open their famous inn and restaurant at Mont-Saint-Michel, a midieval island citadel in Normandy, now a UNESCO world heritage site. Known as ''Le Mere Poulard'', she would give her famous butter cookies as tokens of good luck to the children of the village and passing travellers, wishing them prosperity and a happy life. Her creations would go on to be enjoyed across the world and become synonymous for French culinary indulgence. Since 1888, regarded as a lucky number, La Mere Poulard has been making the same delciious cookies with home grown French ingredients; free range eggs, unctuous French butter and golden hued wheat. Her talent, kindness, natural generosity and legendary hospitality made her a symbol of the French culinary tradition.
